The £150 million Royal Bournemouth Hospital Beach Building project is one of our most significant undertakings to date. Prefabricated Solutions was contracted to design and manufacture full prefabricated corridor service modules and second fix IPS (Integrated Plumbing Systems) modules. Our team delivered over 700 modules to the site, ensuring a streamlined installation process that met the project’s stringent timelines and specifications.

Early Engagement in Design
We worked closely with the project’s design team early in the RIBA Stage 3/4 phase, allowing us to integrate prefabrication solutions into the overall plan efficiently.  

Efficiency in Installation
By delivering prefabricated modules on a schedule that matched the installation programme, we minimised working at height and reduced programme durations significantly.

Logistics Management
Our manufacturing and delivery schedule was designed to align with site logistics, allowing for swift, coordinated installations and enabling the completion of large areas in just a few weeks.

IHP engaged Prefabricated solutions early on in the design process to enable a swifter more efficient installation. This helped reduce working at height interface, and reduce programme durations. The team there were able to meet our demands, and manufactured our modules in accordance with our installation programme!
